Today I saw landrover109uk deliberately ram a BMW that was merging in turn correctly according to the Highway code. Then leaving the scene...
(instant ban if I remember correctly, not to mention the deliberate ramming...)

Will you be showing all of the video footage or just the bit that suits? Are you involved in the incident or making money from it.

What you mean to say is the gent in the car in front deserved to be undertook, rammed off the road, and deserted by the perpetrator of a malicious RTA?

I hope you enjoy offroad driving, as you sure won't be allowed to drive on the road very soon.

While I was washing the RR the ball of mud appeared and joined the que:eek:
Anyway it didnt get much soap and didn’t get the leather treatment after the wash either.
But after cleaning the mud off the top and the bottom:) it’s blue again. And did you know those little side steps have “land rover” written on them  anyway now I have to try and get that stupid lettering of the doors, I keep pulling bits every time I see a corner sticking out.
The reason I accepted the ambush was because I know I need to get under it soon for the exhaust,so got as much mud off as poss.

For a 96 she is very solid underneath, fortunately over here they don’t grit/salt roads so we don’t have that issue to help rot things.

Well,

that is a rum one.

@landrover109uk , if he was in front, why not just slow stop and let him go? what are we missing here? what made you decide to go on the left and up the inside of him?

looking at the pics, looks like the damage was cause dby you coming up the inside and ramming him from your offside to his nearside.

Cheers

Pretty clear case of dangerous driving by the Disco driver in in my book. Will be interesting to see what the traffic police make of that.

I did the rear propshaft a few days ago in response to a vibration which turned out to be caused by a loose joint. The vibration has not entirely gone, so I looked underneath and find that the front one is now loose. It was OK when I checked about a week ago. When they get loose, it seems to happen quickly. New one ordered.

Took the mud ball down for a technical test and passed . Now we have a year to find and attach the missing exhaust system parts and sort the squishy brakes.

Travelled 270 miles straight the day before yesterday. Was overtaken by a fit 2005 defender 110 - he must have been going 80+ - I’d like to know what he has under the bonnet that I don’t have (no jokes please)?!
If it was one of you lot (on the M3) PM me!!!
Nice wave!

It were probably a Freelander engine. ;)

My front propshaft came today. I'd specifically selected the Hardy Spicer option on the LR Direct website but on unwrapping it, it had a Britpart sticker. Oh the humiliation. What if someone sees it? The part number has a G suffix, so I'm prepared to believe I have an OEM quality one, but Britpart?

Update: The Britpart thing was only sellotaped on so that was solved quickly. In the bin with the rest of the packaging.

One of my headlamps took on a mind of its own yesterday, bouncing around out of control (tdci puma defender) so investigated it this afternoon. The bezel wot fixes the headlamp shell/lens to the bodywork was pure rust and in bits, and only six years old. So got a pair of stainless steel ones ordered. Must remember to be nice to the missus in case I need to borrow her car while mine is headlamp-less.
