unloaded my tools from mine into my mates to help him strip a k series out an old 200 to fit in his car. managed to get a good deal for the amount we stripped out of the car

Painted fuel filler cap yellow and cleaned off the back diff so the white paint shows through and the convoy light has something to shine. Tyre pressure reminders painted on for each wheel. I felt like I was 19 again.

Yesterday, fitted a car cam. One of the 0801 type from a company called Combi on e-bay.

Found some promising unused wires behind the sunroof switches. With a bit of hunting in the circuit diagrams and connector library turns out they are for an electric interior mirror.

I was never going to need one of those so the ignition and earth leads for that were ideal for the camera charger. No need to run any wires at all :)

Rebuilt the front calipers at last
and tried to get the new wiring loom in the new chassis, NO chance !
spent hours and in the end give up
looks like it will be fitted on top of the chassis
Just need some pics showing the best way to do it

lol out come the cable ties then or was it duct tape

Starter motor failed on the morning of London to Bright. Luckily I was surrounded by Landys so plenty of people to bump start me :D

Met Gigglepins 4x4 down there with their new-ish incredable Landy I suppose, beat a Bowler Nemisis..

Anyway they supplied a recon OEM starter and fitted for £160 all done in about 40 mins was very pleased. Also informed me my alternator is dying aswelll.... :(

filled it with derzil and got 2 cans of nvo to top it up with later in the week. also surprised to see my fuel gauge is working properly now. I have filled it in the past and it only read 3/4 but it is reading full now. wonder if the nvo has lubed the sender

blew a fuse myself today with the terrano at work not working with the trailer and having random front lights. yet hook the trailer up to my D1 and it's fine :D suppose I'll be playing with the sh**box tomorrow to try finding the issue before it's next trip out. if I can't sort it looks like my disco will be used instead. at least I'll be more comfortable

Changed the wiper blades and gently started to remove the stick on wood effect tat around the dash...

fitted snorkel steering guard new door hinges what a job every bolt rusted had to drill out then weld nuts in place before putting door back on mounted swing away spare wheel carrier went to do steering wheel only to find out wrong boss sprayed front and back bumpers and washed polished ninty and delivered it back to my mate it a good job I love playing with landies there great:D

Was going to fill the screw heads on my doors and bonnet but got asked for ID buying the resin/filler stuff and came home empty handed

Then realised I had been sent the wrong cubby so couldn't fit that and the brackets for the bench seats don't fit either so I did absolutely nothing :(
