check everything that uses oil,water and air.plus take a few spares and your toolbox.

wheel bearings, pads, discs, track rod ends, uj's, suspension components, mountings, lights, washers, leaks, toothbrush, etc.

But if you check it all that often then you don't get the fun of things going BANG when you really really don't have time!
Add tyre pressures, clean radiator if you've been in mud recently, stock up on driving snacks

I've had enough....it's one fookin thing after another and I can't take anymore.
After a mere 6 months of problem free motoring I wonder why I bother. I knew it was too good to be true :doh:
Disaster has finally struck and the rubber has started to peel off the wiper blade :Cry:

dont fret,i have got a spare rubber you can have,oops wrong type of rubber.

New tyres; copperslip studs, new indicator bulb holder - rewired in and siliconed. Fitted rubber cover from old mini headlight on reverse to try to stop water ingress - 3rd indicator holder in less than a year. Swore about lack of clearance between rear wiper and sparewheel cover.

MOT'd the Disco today. '96P 300Tdi 155k
Bought with new Mot 12 months ago and only basic servicing carried out so a
little nervous but well pleased when it passed.
Small advisory list:
Slight oil leak on engine
Tail pipe slightly corroded
Slight corrosion to chassis front and rear
