go on do it,a gasket set is not that expensive.
Dont I need valves and rockers ontop of that.
not if yours are ok,just re grind the valves and put it back together.but check that nothing is worn or broken.

Went to some tyre places got quoted prices for tyres that are obviously hand crafted by Tibetan monks and delivered by vestal virgins scattering petals prior to them feedin me grapes while they fit them
Back to the internet then, less vestal virgin influence on the prices but feel some tough hand tyre fitting coming on....all 5 of the pricey critters..

Pulled bits out the engine bay clearing the way to the cam belt. Stopped at the last hurdle by the large nut on the bottom pulley. Dont really know how to get that one off. :-o B-)
Good socket & breaker bar wedged under chassis rail.
Remove glowplugs
Spin engine over.
Job done
30mm springs to mind??I shall have to find me a big bar. What sized nut is it?
