and you should flush your brake/clutch fluid every couple years :D :D

:confused: not this week, this job is getting bigger and bigger. Poor Neil :D:D

OK another question. I went to three places looking for this EP90. I didn't believe the first two when they said it has been replaced. When the third said the same I bought the replacement. Was I right

you can still get ep90. have fun reading about gl4/5. If you want to play it safe, get ep90 gl4, loads on ebay smith&allen, etc

Sorry, dont understand

The stuff I got say EP and the 80W90

i can't cut and paste the millions of threads re the oil. :)

have a quick search and you'll find loads ;)

but basically 80w90 is a bit thinner, gl5 can be bad for yellow metal in the Tbox, but now some say it's ok. it's a bit of a minefield.

to avoid it all, either whack whatever in and don't think about it :D

or get ep90 gl4

did you re new it last year,or just top it up??

I bought it last year and it had a receipt for a service. When I did it again, just to make sure a few months later I didn't do it.

Will get it done, just not this week, Neil is busy enough already

underseal the chassis before the grit comes :D

Yes, I discussed this with Neil a few times, he thinks its not a good idea
Something to do with the inside will already be rusty and it would just be hiding problems occurring on the outside. I might not have got that right. I was talking about waxoil at the time.

Changed the hideous exhaust system on my rrc back to standard and then drove around for an hour or so listening to the engine :D

no comment, my chassis is like triggers broom.. think i'll patch for another year or so, then look at galv or getting another 110 already done.

Bled the clutch, put the drivers wing back on, modded front panel to fit the rad and did some painting then it started to **** it down so I stopped…….

Tomorrow the weather should hopefully be better! Means I can crack on with some of the other bits

Mine is doing well, its had a new cross member at the back but otherwise I dont think there are any patches

drilled out weeping rivets! replaced them. took of front vent passenger side resealed with a pile of maritime window putty as it was still bloody leaking! Got soaked to the skin as it chucked it down whilst trying to put those awkward little bolts back in!!! Took the ammo boxes of the back fitted some hasp and staples and two nice shiney padlocks put it all back together.

Took flywheel off doner 200tdi and the oil seal is mint, no oil whatsoever near the seal it's clean and dry.

Bit of old oil around edge of casing, I'll change seal anyway then wait for new clutch to arrive:)

Took a quick look around at what might be causing my phantom knock. Gave everything a wiggle and tug (and kick). Found some play in my rear near side wheel. And just with my hands I can make it "knock" a bit. So guessing that's a wheel bearing gone?

Might need adjusting:)
