Finished the T-box front output bearing and oil seal ... I was expecting a 1/2 day job but it took three times longer due to the old collapsed bearing race pretty much welding itself in place! ... all done now but need to fit a new clutch slave cylinder. Hoping that one does go as smoothly as it should do!

Found out why M & S dash lights flashed a few months back as I did the same thing tonight - accidentally pressing the lock button on the key fob when starting ignition. Well actually I don't technically know why it does this but you know what I mean :p

after finally getting the passenger wing sorted (forgot to take pics) this morning i started the drivers side. well removed wing and heres the mess  still at least it s fixable. just waiting for descent weather now

took mine though the woods at my workshop as got fed up working in the rain. got it nice n dirty lol, then found out i've broke my viscous fan so gotta replace that tomorrow aswell as scrap my towball and leccy socket ready for towing as clogged up with mud now.

Drove it to Rotherham and back to collect my roof rack. wouldn't go in the Landy and I didn't take a trailer so I had to stick it on the roof...:D:D

Came back the pretty way through the peak district, 150 miles all together, 2.5 n/a never missed a beat and did over 30 mpg:)

Just collected mine from the garage where they fitted a new windscreen and changed the thermostat for a 88 degree one. Feels like I'm driving a new car with the windscreen so clean and free from any marks. Can't see or feel any difference regarding the thermostat change. I thought it might register a bit hotter on the temperature gauge but seems to be running about the same spot and can't feel any difference with regards to the heaters, so that looks like it was a waste of time.

Fitted a new tubular outrigger to the drivers side, piece of cake. :)

Then I set about replacing a bit of the rear cross member, what a bastid  because the thing is multi-skinned, difficult to get at and pretty corroded, it's impossible to get it properly clean before welding. So coughing and spitting and bird **** welds are the order of the day. I hate welding rust

But it's done now, back to the MOT station for a fresh ticket tomorrow morning.

Took it for an MOT. Nice clean sheet with no faults or advisories. This was Swinfield Cooper in Leicester, who were friendly and efficient and have a forecourt full of Discoverys smothered in offroad accessories.
