J40! That's a long way up! Currently 12 degress down here at the pointy end so no chance of snowy scenes like you've got. Love the pics Darren.
Middle of summer here and its the same temp as you've got! Snow reported yesterday around the country to.

In the build up to XMas we were all complaining it was to hot and dry, scrub fires sparking up... and we were all preying for some rain.

Well we got it, and it ain't gone away! FFS.

There’s 10 degrees between us , the snow as been a absent “friend “ for a long time but the rain never stops it’s been the worse 12m for rain i can remember
That’s the main reason the sub frame as not been done
So i feel your pain in the rain

That looks great but you could bring the cables for it up through the dash cup holders (the ones behind it). They're only held in by one screw and a couple of clips but once out there is a clear path down to the back of the radio.
I did this for my phone and was able to refit the cup holders without cutting or drilling anything.

oh great idea i'll try that - I also added a small 90degree USBC so that the power cable goes straight back instead of jutting out. the run for the reversing camera is nicely hidden under the door plates.

Freed the r/o/s handbrake, with a big hammer. It had decided to weld itself to the disc, just because I hadn't taken it out for a couple of weeks, instead leaving him sat on the drive in crappy weather over xmas.

Edit: After this behaviour, I'm thinking 'He' might actually be a 'She', after this sort of stubborn behaviour just because we didn't go out for a bit!

In the latest of the saga of my car trying to kill itself and possibly me with it, the driver's side washer turret decided it was too good to push fluid to the windscreen this morning. Took some convincing with a needle and a bit of pressure to get the nozzles to open up again. Reattached, job done.

Just before going in I had a fiddle with the lights. The bottom sets being fogs and the outside, amber sets being indicators. Very good. But then there's the insides. The side lights activate the "D" shaped scoops and the large lens, and the headlights flip up the large lens. Then, what's the little, circular lens for? That only briefly shines when unlocking the car, and never again. Is it meant to be like this, or is something wrong? What is the small lens supposed to be?
