I know this is not the place to sell things but could do with a little help on this one
It’s a friends and unfortunately he can’t drive anymore so this need gone
It’s been pampered since he as had it still as prop and 4 good tyres
MOT 17/10/20125
Need a drop link and back brakes clean/ adjustment but is totally fine to drive as is
Clean interior
My question is how much is it worth??
Its definitely one of the better ones left
Very nice example

That's a cracking looking motor.

Decided to bite the bullet and change the clutch, flywheel and cylinders after my clutch slave cylinder purged itself last week in N. Wales. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I have never done this job before, so this might get exciting. And it's raining.

Still, to see me through trying times they sent me a helping OLD OWT YER AAND

Anyway
I have bought the said freelander so if anyone wants one that’s solid and well maintained let me know
As it will be sitting till end of January when things get a bit less hectic at work and i get a chance to advertise it

Sorted this !!Yours is shown as 205 g/km where as all my TD4s show as 240 which puts them in the next category on the tax rates table !!

Bought new wheel nuts, then decided not to bother as they are smaller socket size and stick out further so they look kinda crappy. Funny thing is I accidentally bought 16 which is even more useless. 🤣

Big disappointment for me but as I've tried them and they are now marked I can't/won't send them back so if anybody wants 16 miss sized sticky out wheel nuts drop me a PM.

Just replaced the tailgate actuator on my TD4 as the last one gave up.
What moron was responsible for picking the screw location on the bottom of the door panel!!!!
Took longer to get that off than do the job.

Not sure what to think, blower was making a racket all week on high except on Friday when it suddenly stopped doing that. No sign of obstruction now I've had the trim off

Also been convinced that the heated screen wasn't working, just been over all the connections with a multimeter and getting 15V everywhere. So everything ought to be working on that front but just isn't

And after my glow plug escapade now I don't think it's reading the remaining range on fuel correctly. Sure it used to read 504 miles on a full tank, now it thinks 381

In for the front diff tomorrow
