Made a little change. Can you spot the difference?
No I'm not talking about the garage door being open and closed!
New boots!!
I picked the best 4 wheels from the 10 I had and took them to have new tyres fitted, a fifth was in good condition and had a decent tyre so it is now the spare, the rest went to the scrap metal man for Filthy Lucre.
Turned out the four wheels needed a refurb so I spent a week rubbing, sanding and spraying them.
I was never 100% happy with the Nissan wheels as the spindle size was too big plus the tyres where much lower sidewall giving a firm ride. One of the things I like about Freelanders is the cushioned ride from the big side walls in the tyres.
A final bonus is the speedo is now restored to reading correctly.
