Probably. Last tax disk shows £270 for a year and it's due in May
Could be worse, a late TD4 auto is in the £400 region
Late V6 is £460 iirc.
Some do, yes. I just can't remember when the high tax band came in.

As of October there will be no tax discs and you can pay monthly by direct debit. It should take the sting in the tail out of the price a little. Even though we pay enough tax on the fuel we all use.
No paper discs is why I havnt bought a nice shiny tax disc holder for my hippo even though the el cheapo one I have got hardly sticks to the screen.

That won't happen, partially because the DVLA won't let you, and also because the CO2 is so high over the 225g/Km threshold it still won't be anywhere near it!
Ironically, my car tax is the same as my insurance premium, £270
