Mathematical problem that is Kizzeh - number of vehicles required is n+1 where n is the number currently owned! But not forgetting d-1= n where d is number of vehicles that would result in divorce!

Oiled up my bumpers too, looks great and it's really cheap.

You should have seen the wife's face when I got the baby oil out of the shopping bag.

Just fitted new front discs and pads, what a big difference that has made. The old pads must have been about 3-4 mm thick, and it passed MOT with no advisories.
Next job is rear brakes now.

Did you go for OEM or something else?

I'm driving a courtesy TD4 auto at the moment (which is also remapped  ) it also has standard brakes. They feel dead compared my my drilled & slotted discs. Yes the oem ones are quieter. I prefer the bite from the discs & pads fitted to my car.

I thought about replacing my front discs on my Freelander 1 Td4 with drilled & grooved discs. Would you recommend them?

I've just replaced the pads with Mintex pads so probably best to change the discs soon.

Yes I would recommend them. They do make a noise when you use them though. A sort of whirring noise. I can live with that as the stopping power is better than the ones on the car I'm driving at the moment.
