A few weeks ago I removed the lower rear light guards as both were cracked & one had a bit fall off on the driveway.
Today I glued both back together properly, then cut up an unused stainless steel wire shelf, bent the strips into the correct shape, dropped them into the channels on the rear of the light guards & used a glue gun to secure them in place.
Once it was dry I cleaned them up & screed them back onto the lights.
Should be a little stronger now.
