Diff leaks next on the list!!!!
Diff leaks next on the list!!!!
think i might have solved the water leak altho it is a bodge but if it doesnt leak i dnt care simple as
also fitted my wiring kit for my sony steering wheel control
it was coming in between the tailgate and the seal then running down the seal on to the trim and dripping from the trim onto the carpet and so on
need to order a new seal but for now i have cut about 10mm out of the seal so when it runs down it now drips onto the bumper rather than running into the car
at £150 for a seal it is not something i can order straight away
you can buy door seal by the metre, just google it.
the tailgates suffer with the correct seal so doubt the universal stuff will be up to much
there are lots of different types now.gotta be worth a google.
just looking now but with the Freebie seal is not the same all round... hard to explain
2 new tyres on the back couple of weeks and 2 for the front
Bought it a matching set of Boots and Purse for the gaylander convention, from the customs boot sale.
I removed the stereo to see which ISO adaptor I'd need to get my steering controls working.
According to eBay the 2001-2003 models had BMW round pin connections but mine look like flat blades.
I also ordered new Bearmach UJ's & a 12v-5v step down female USB socket to wire into the arm rest box so I can charge my camera and keep it out of sight.
Also ordered a LED strip light to improve the lighting in the boot when it's dark & a 4-way fuse block to wire it all in with!
my 2001 TD4 had the round pin BMW
also your aerial is different to mine mine was the socket type not the plug like yours
