More bits arrived.... New pads all round, rear discs, new steering damper, steering bar, front brake calliper pin rubbers all to be fitted... Still no where near ready for MOT.
Aye...my Disco's previous owner isn't going to be on my Xmas card list any time soon either. I spent an hour with a 9lb sledge hammer and a block of wood beating the rear wheels off the hubs today just to change the disks and pads. Alloy wheels and steel hubs never mix well unless you fire at least a smidgin of copperslip on the hub occasionallyDon't you just love previous owners, who don't give a monkeys....
Very nice job indeed.Dose of vactan, then brew time.... Finally two coats of stone chip. That will keep the mot man happy.
