Saturday morning checking fluids noticed a top rad hose swelling.
new one on.
noticed a tiny bit of play in the front prop .
bought a donor td5 99 boiled 80k on it so when it comes to clutch time on mine il throw that gearbox and transfer box in.
still need to get all 4 wheels balanced.
hoping for a day next week to change all 4 brake pipes hoses and callipars disc n pads

Are you sure the play is in the front prop? You will get some play at the differential. If your brake hoses are as rusty as mine were you will be doing well to get them all done in a day.

Anyone who has a D2 i recommend you look behind these inner arch protectors.

Mine is starting to show the "common" inner arch rot..

Anyway i've filled me sills with waxyoyl

Gonna do the Gbox oil next week, hopefully,

yup I had 2 small bits under each one at mot time

plays definitely in the front prop that double jointed part.
il just do new pipes from abs pump to hoses and new hoses and 4 callipars. no messing about usually when pipes get stuck to hoses I just grind one side of the mount and keep the original mount and do new.

but the past hours been spent sorting an exhaust hanger as the cat hit the chassis sometimes.
and the passenger door would only open with a tug on the handle. 're adjusted the bar all good now.

One thing about my Dizzie that drives me nutters in a rattle in the centre console!
Also the lack of an ashtray.

Put 2+2 together and get 6 etc etc

Turns out the Ashtray has been kicked through the centre.

So,,

Fished it out!

And fitted!

There was also this cable, which i'm assuming is the relic of an old CB radio?

Nice..

Another addition added was another Air freshener!

And a nice frontal view, we like a good frontal!

And a back seat, just becoz

Also the rear springs are getting tired!

And a tad crispy, debating whether to reinstate air or put better springs in their stead.

Also need a new mudflap!

I'm not going to start a thread about this, but when I was replacing the bulb this afternoon I noticed that the bolt shown below (not mine) has literally lost it's head and the whole plastic piece is loose. Does anyone know what size bolt this is?
