I mounted an uhf antenna today
Seems a tad long for UHF, surely? VHF, maybe, HF certainly?

Ha ha, you are right. I wanted her to be seen like UN vehicles . Actually it is a fixed antenna for roofs or buildings. But I need high wattage to reach our repeater. We do not have vhf repeater in our city for now.Seems a tad long for UHF, surely? VHF, maybe, HF certainly?
Copied over from my 'Fred
I set out today to do the rear axle oil.
Of course it wasn't easy because some muppet had tightened the shizzle out of the filler plug, even though it's plastic! Eventually a pair of mole grips got ti out.
Oh and why in the F did LR put plastic bung plugs in there?
Just to do the diff oil lol
Mole grips and pliers saved the day!
Oil didn't look too bad and twas up to level.
The magnet had some metallic paste on it but no chunks!
This is the Oil I used, for anyone wondering!
Millers Fully syn, isn't cheap but I believe you get what u pay for. will be changing it every year. Or every other oil change.
Some upgraded brass filler plugs are on their way..
Looks like u had a right fight there mate , happy days getting the plug out
Also use millers , recently used it for my engine and must admit sounds quieter but that might just be me
Am still dreading when I try and get the filler plug out of my autobox
Even though I only done a few hundred miles from last year I’ll still change all the oils and filters
Great job there by the way for getting that plug out
Another thing done today.
I'll be fitting a Galvanised Chassis at some point so this is just a bandage to help preserve this chassis while I save up for a new one.
This is the big tub 2.5 litre, half a can does all the chassis and arches.
I'll be painting the radius arms silver incase anyone is wondering.
Also did this area, high impact and all that.
I'll be filling the sills with waxoyl next I fink!
Missed a bit.
Cheers
