Last week had the great pleasures of replacing the steering bars and the alternator.
Uneven wear on one front tyre led me to take her in for tracking; garage spent an hour trying to free up the rusted bars to no avail. Spent over an hour and half a can of WD40 to loosen all the bolts (mostly on just one of them - was genuinely sore the following morning) only to have to take her to the garage anyway as I couldn't get the swing (and don't have a suitable 'amer) to free the ball joints.
Then the alternator packed in just as we were setting off for a weekend away. Had to push her off Tesco forecourt to jump start and get home. Man is that a pig of a job to replace!
Oh, and the battery is a gonner too...
