Brimmed the tank for £84 on the M5.
Just finished a 300mi jaunt.
TD5 is very quiet at 70-80mph.
Oh and also re sealed the sunroofs.
Always wondered how much it would take to fill it, I use about 30 quid a week so that's all I put in
the most ive stuck in is 60 although it wasn't empty.
Count yourselves lucky...
over here it costs me £120 to fill the tank and I only get about 500 miles from it.
She was just 'orf the red.
When she's pretty much empty it takes £97 to brim it till the needle is pointing at the sky
I like to fill and forget for 3 weeks! Or 3 days depending! lol
Hi mate
How’s the new disco doing buddy , have u managed to work out the mpg yet
Im getting around 25/6 around town, on a run 31/2 mpg
Winter time around town it drops , think it’s because the FBH kicks in
Don’t know if u saw got a small obd2 monitor which will be interesting how they compare with the onboard mpg display or liometer in other words , lol
Glad I’ve managed to start getting the dashboard back together
I have no idea how big the Disco 2 tank is TBF i'll have to check the manual!Mine costs around £110 to fill, think it was 82 x litres / 18 gallons
Hiya Gary!
everythings great how u doin'?
She's getting 26 Town and around 30 on the Mway..
Which isn't too bad..
Considering she's a Auto D2!!
They make great motorway cruisers at 70mph and some more without issue!
I have no idea how big the Disco 2 tank is TBF i'll have to check the manual!
The most I can get into it is £100 and at that it's trying to come out the filler neck lol
Do you run it down to empty?
Not bad thks
Indeed, think thats a good return considering there shaped like house bricks , soon notice dropping mpg around 80mph
I normally stay in the 1st lane , put the cruise control on and sit around 65/70 mph , don’t need to rush anywhere so poodle along with the radio on
Agree , such a nice place to be on motorways , well pleased how quiet and comfortable it is
