I used 15mm flexi head ratchet spanner, to be fair it was only the drivers side front that was a problem, all the rest were removed and new fitted in under an hour each.

Finished off making & fitting my brake pipes, abs all removed just waiting on a new master cylinder & servo
then I will have a compete new braking system (apart from the pedal lol)

I just used a cheap flaring set ive had for years, never had any problems trick is the pipe has to be cut nice & straight
& file the edge of the pipe (small chamfer) an youl get a nice round straight flare :)

Ive seen lads in the garage using snap on one's & they still cock them up cause they're new age fitters
not old school mechs like us lot :D

Gave up trying to get hold of a solenoid repair kit for the starter motor and just replaced the entire unit
Also, a new rear door latch arrived, always nice when the parts have a "genuine" label on them.

Did you try fitting the solenoid kit?

or take the new one apart to see if it was loose?
I bought two repair kits, but both of them had something wrong with the plunger arm. The original plunger was completely rigid, but both the repair kits had a wobbly arm on the plunger so didn't want to use them. You'll tell me now that they could have been used? o_O
I've still got the old starter motor, so if that's the case, then I can fit one of the repair kits to it so I've got a spare starter.

Edit: Link to existing fred about the wobbly plunger.

Now to order 2 new tyres as they will need changing in a thousand miles or so. Goodyear wranglers it is.

Cheers

Well I've done absolutely nothing to mine apart from drive her to the in-laws and back, and then at least she got to wait outside

It's too hot here for shade bathers

Removed the abs servo & master cylinder & fitted new non abs items filled with new fluid

Removed rear metal bumper to take out the bash & re-weld it only to discover the lights fitted are just lenses
so I need find lights to suit it & make them fit.

Done the dent & rewelded it & a quick sand & paint to freshen it up ...……..next
Making lowering blocks to fit my antiroll bars since its been lifted :)

Dang, you chose the expensive ones.
they must be good quality.
And I thought you wanted rid of the AS cos it was crap.
Well, if I'm going to do it, then I'm not buying cheap!
The only reason why I got rid of it originally was that cash was tight, and I just wanted the car to work. Now, cash flow is a bit easier. :)
