What did you do with your Range Rover today

They don't have indoors, just a glorified umbrella
They do have indoors, and have had for years - some vehicles they will only do indoors, especially the ones needing ADAS calibration but also those with special alignment requirements and often liftgate glass.

What I did with mine yesterday, discovered the bonnet struts didn't keep the bonnet up. Wah! Luckily the other car that's awaiting collection from the dealer is still here and appears to have a new pair, about the only bit on that car that is worth keeping so changed them over, job done. Changed the battery in partner's 63 reg Disco, it still had the original battery, done 11 years so not bad going.

Make sure you replaced it with an AGM battery and you updated/reset the BMS

Bit surprised to see the fuel flow pipe is only 8mm od with an id of 6mm. My 110 200tdi is 10mm.
Would have expected at least 10mm on the p38 2.5d. That size is causing me some hassle, no one local has 1/8" bsp to 8mm compression fittings to fit the female 1/8" ports on the facet pump.
Can get them online though.

The battery was sold to me by my local motor factor as being suitable for the TDV8 Vogue that I had. i'll check with them on Monday. It has the start/stop capability as it's higher Ah. The lower Ah that the Vogue previously has wasn't quite man enough for the car. I got that battery in Februry so it only had about 3 months use before the engine went pop. But what is the BMS??

Battery Management System. Don't believe what the factor tells you, many seem to be on a mission to sell AGM batteries. Not sure which car you are talking about, Vogue or Disco? Check with the owners manual, if you do not have the manual, check on line.

The battery has gone in the Disco 4. I'll check with the manual, thanks. The 60 reg Vogue "seems" to be ok except theheated front screen doesn't seem to be heated, Ic an't see any wiggly wires in it. But if that's the only problem I'll be a happy bunny. It came with a new tow ball and twin trailer sockets, AW Pirelli Grabber tyres and a lot tider than the 10 reg Vogue I got ripped off for.

Our 2013 D4 has an AGM battery from the factory and is coded as such. My 2011 4.4 TDV8 vogue also has an AGM battery and that is correct too but my 2010 3.6 didn't, that was a normal lead-acid battery. I would suggest that you have now fitted the wrong type of battery to the Discovery, put the old one back in or at the very least confirm what was in it before. Being a 63 plate D4 I would expect that to require an AGM battery. It may be just too early for the Start/Stop stuff but will still require AGM and the Battery Monitoring will be configured for that also. If it is fitted with start/stop and ad-blue etc. it will most definitely need an AGM battery.

Check with Land Rover and not the motor factor.

OK will do, i'll have a look at the old battery tomorrow. there's no adblue on the disco, it's euro 5, not ulez compliant. I'm not sure what's in my "new" 4.4, I haven't looked that far yet but have found the heated front screen isn't.

Edited to add having done a quick internet research on the battery differences, the battery from the Disco had a vent plug in the end, the battery that went in also has a vent plug in the end. The AGM batteries don't have a vent plug. Thanks for your help everyone.
