Its a 2007 lwb high top rwd 100hp, manual windows no heated screen no comforts at all,
As much as id rather be in my RR id rather nothing bad happend too it again aswell iv got quite a few of those il come back too it jobbys to do,
Not much different to mine. Single rear wheels I guess? I cannot even get up the slope to the village in mine when there has been a little bit of snow.

Blower is a proper f()<£ed. But no way am I paying for a new one at those prices. Going mad with black Adiseal…
Drove around with a nice warm bum! Dunno how long my repair will last but I’m glad all that hassle getting the seat back off (and back on) has led to it working. Added a bit of foam to hopefully cushion the tubing against that rigid metal bar. Another wonderful bit of Land Rover engineering!

Found out the hard way, don't buy a "fully reconditioned pump" from CN4x4. Been on about a month and already leaking through the seals. He has ghosted me for refunding the core charge and now ghosting me about fixing the issue. Giving him until tomorrow morning before I raise a dispute with PayPal to get my money back.

To say I am fuming is an understatement.

Isn't that the guy that @Rubberknees says is a good bloke?

No snow here in Kent and Essex. Went by train from Ashford to Stratford, then train to Hockwell to get my latest money-eating car. The trains were remarkably busy considering how much people moan about high train fares.
Anyway, the dealer met me at the station, a lift round to his showroom in his own RR 3 litre supercharged petrol engine, a rarity he said, and sign the deal to get the 60 reg 4.4TDV Vogue. Will it be owrth the money? I sincerely hope so! It drives very nicely, no vibration from Steering and transmissions at the higher speeds, the heaters work as do all the other bits that I can make out. noticed the engine temperature dropped below normal when sitting in traffic. On the journey back to Kent with a mix of slow and fast moving motorway traffic it said it was doing 28.5 mpg over an 86 mile journey. Revs at about 1500 at 70 mph sounds economical to me if it's true.
Silence from the dealer who sold me the dodgy 10 plate Vogue.

Ooh...Frost is on its way, will be able to test my heated screen, my badly fitted heated screen..
Didn't work, bummer. Revs faltered briefly when switching it on though which is weird, like a heavy load was applied electrically but nowt.
I seem to remember that the screen is switched in the becm , rear screen via relays in the engine fuse box. Anybody know which wire or wires need a dmm on them at the becm?

Owners hand book will give you the relays, RAVE the rest.

Nah my bloke has his workshop just up road from me
Charles I used about 8 years ago and was very helpful. I know others on here who have used him too and been ok. Maybe things have changed.
When my fuel pump was changed it was a few months back and local guy did it. Sells parts and does repairs too. Been top man for past few years for me

I thought I had RAVE in a hard copy and I have but there is nowt electrical helpy in there. A bit of searching however has turned up a link to the electrical side of things which is obviously an add on to what I've got. Very useful I think, found the heated front screen stuff on there which I'll print off tomorrow and see if I can get my head around it, electrics are not my thing really but I do like to learn stuff. Stretch the grey matter and hopefully ward off dementia for a bit longer.
I can't see the pages very well on my phone, which is all I have, but it looks like it is operated via the fusebox relays and not the becm, that runs the rear screen and works fine.

Heated screen is operated from the HEVAC I think via fuse box relays, nothing to do with the BECM.

Yes, correct. I've got this and a couple of wiring pics that I'll print off shortly. I had no idea such a file existed for leccy stuff. I'll probably print all 500+ pages off at some point, much prefer looking at a manual than a screen, I get eye strain quite quickly.

If you have the option, try setting the screen to permanent night time mode, or 'warm'. It means less blue from the screen, which means less scatter in your eyeball, means less strain

Yeah, I turn the brightness right down which helps but I still have the issue of not being able to read the wiring diagram below on my phone. If it fits the screen in its entirety I can't see it, expand it so I can read it and I have to swipe left/right/up/down then I can't follow it if you know what I mean.
Could get a cheap tablet or something but I prefer a manual all day. Found a guy on ebay who prints them off for c£30 delivered, prolly cost me around that to print it all off. Also found a guy selling one along with the workshop manual on ebay for £35 for both, collection only from Chester or Ellesmere port.
Toying with that at the mo....

I know what you mean, prefer real paper too

Don't suppose you have his details? I'm going to need a new pump for sure.
Went out to defrost the car this morning and she wouldn't start, but dumped all of the contents of the FIP on the ground.
