What did you do with your Range Rover today

Took a couple of bits out and installed Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. I am over the moon with this. It wasn't cheap but the integration is excellent and it keeps it looking 100% stock. Not for the feint-hearted though as you will need to strip down the head unit and add a new circuit board and ribbon cables etc. into the unit.

Do you still keep all the normal screens? TV.
Do you just select a different input to get that screen?

Adapted my wife's old mobility aid to better suit rough terrain and the beach. Might fit a green oval badge, but not sure what model it is most like.

Yes sir. It retains all the original functionality. You select Aux input and then hold the phone hang up button for second or two and switches into the IDCore unit; Android Auto or CarPlay. I will do a video on it when I get a bit more time.

There are videos on the product page here so that you can see it in action: https://unique-ad.co.uk/product/wir...-l320-range-rover-l322-discovery-4-2009-2012/

Series 0.5 Sand Rover performed adequately on the maiden voyage.
Sand was hard to medium firmness and wet. Drove well on there, coped well with 4 to 5 inches of gentle surf. Tougher going over the big shingle, tendency to wedge one wheel but good over small shingle.

Worth persevering, contemplating Corvette style transverse leaf springing and some degree of front axle lateral articulation.

Wife very happy to be able to cope with the trudge to the sea edge and back to the car park again.

Did she paddle and dig her bare toes in the wet sand ;).
