Flat bar with couple of small machine screws set at the correct space has done it for my before when I lost my disc spanner. Just do them hand tight now, never come loose yet.It doesn't help that I can't find the tool to change the disc on my mains angle grinder and my cordless one kills the battery in minutes.
Nah it's probably fate that I can't find it, it's bloody vicious and I don't really want to use it lying on my back on the drive. Plus I'm going to Devon Friday for a weeks holiday and I don't want to go via A&E. To be sure, to be sure..Ordered a pair of side steps last week to replace the rusty old ones and some complete and utter tit has welded the nearside step on.
