I assume the heating element is a replace rather than repair item?
I think you can repair them by soldering a wire across the breakI assume the heating element is a replace rather than repair item?
Having just seen that they're about a hundred quid a pop, that would be the option to try first methinks.I think you can repair them by soldering a wire across the break
Don't know how well it lasts
Just to let you know the passenger seat cover also fits the drivers seat if you can get a good second hand one.My driver's seat has a small split in the side too, where people have slid their backside down off the seat, i didn't know you could repair it? Thought filler was the only option
Great minds etc.The passenger seat base is the same as the drivers seat. if you can get a scrap seat you can swap them
Speaking of seats, do I remember reading on here somewhere that you can actually remove the leather cover on the seat? I have a split on the side of mine and it would be far easier to repair if I could get it off.
Two quid from China for two 45C stats.Yes you can repair them and update the stat at the same time I did a full write up on here. Try a quick search
Don't forget the shipping! Two quid from China for two 45C stats.

On the hunt for a permanent live in the boot, i thought there was supposed to be one for the 12s trailer socket, but the only connector i can find is for 12n. Search on here suggests another connector, any clues?
Cheers, i had a quick look but nothing, maybe it's behind the subOn mine it is passenger side. I put a power point in the boot for compressors and solar panel.
The OEM is 33C I think. @biketeacherdave sez 40c is good.Don't forget the shipping!
At 16p will it actually work? Or catch fire do you know what temp the existing one is and what is a more suitable temp without getting too warm? Thinking 50c?
Doh! Helps if i actually look!! It was right there.Cheers, i had a quick look but nothing, maybe it's behind the sub
