Nowt exciting, dumped a bottle of Wynnes smoke stop - or whatever it's called - into the tank, topped up to half way, and then went for a mild (ish) Italian tune-up. 100 miles, 30 of those alongside the river Loire, and it was a nice sunny day.
Guess who has a test booked for Thursday.:cool:

Finally fitted the new headlining, and it looks good! I do have the vague impression so, that my car out of spec dimensions on the right side. Neither the headlining, nor the front inner wing or the rear upper tail gate seem to properly fit on that side... Anyway, it now looks like that!

Replaced the rear diff today. And took her for a test drive. Oh boy, together with the ton of sound deadening I thought the gearbox was missing! No more shudder when decelerating, no more clonking noise when changing gears. And with the new relay, no more fuel issues leading to engine shutdowns.

Only the carbs to be looked after and it seems I'm done... No idea what I'll do after that... :)

Well done, I don't suppose it's going to be too long before you get the spanners out again.

Oh, the spanners will be out for front axle gaskets and the new brake hoses soon enough! After that, I hope to leave them alone for a while!
