Of course, silly me 
Yeah I'm happy with the colour and finish on mine, could do with a 3rd coat tho it was really stained by the remains of the old glue and foam

Made it home in the end.
No where near as bad as I thought it would be but haven't really got rough roads.
Bought yet another bm tonight to get about in. Got a few more jobs come in so it's easier to use that and come back to the rangie next week.

Pull relay / fuse? Only issue on the p38 is they stuck the starter motor on the same one.

Morning peeps! If you follow the pipes for the rear brakes down from the brake block the two rear lines start to dissappear under the bodywork, the two joins are just there.! Take out the driver side wheel arch plastic and you should be able to spot them.
To fit the new lines completely, I fed mine from the rear driver's side wheel arch upto the front and then fed the last part of the pipe over the chassis to the passenger rear wheel. I removed all the wheel arch inner plastics,
apart from the passenger front.

For £70 the Martrim kit has everything you need. It is a slow lazy afternoon's work with time for cups of tea. On a sunny day it is really quite pleasant. Hardest part is getting all the old foam off but the more it has dropped the easier it is.
+1 on that kit. I have done 2 now and it's quite satisfying when it's done.
I have done one using cheap nylon material off the bay. But after a while it starts to try and pull itself back into a flat sheet, the Martrim stuff has lots of stretch that stays in place.

If you’ve got the weather just pull it out. Should have done it a long time ago would have been quicker easier &better than the amount of time I’ve spent sticking it back on every 6 months.

Can someone with access to a parts catalogue tell me the part numbers for the bolt and little clip that holds the gearbox sump on a 2.5 auto box? It's the middle two, the corners are different. Just pulled my sump off and the nearside one is just a stud. I'm gonna guess the head of the bolt sheared off at some point.
For anyone that needs to know, the bolt is

One in the boot relay for the compressor it was easier then lifting the spare wheel out. Had a bit of smooth road so got it into motorway height(not manually selectable) locked it there pulled over and pulled the relay out.
So front on the bumpstops and rear at motorway height.
Got me home so all good.

I really need to do this, just don't feel confident. How hard is it to do the sunroof and how do you get the right colour? Or is it simply range rover roof coloured
It is surprisingly easier than you might imagine.Once you start to take off all the handles and lights, it will start to come down easy. Just a bit of a fiddle getting it through the back hatch. But they are more flexible and forgiving than everyone let's on. Martrim list it as a Range Rover colour so not that hard to get the right one. HINT.. don't try to scrape the old glue off the shell, just brush it off with a stiff hand brush, otherwise it balls togyand starts to stick again. Sunroof is easy to do, just a bit of a lump to get out.(and lift back in). There are plenty of guides around on how to do it and you'll feel dead chuffed when it's done..

Gearbox sump drain plug replaced along with filter and gasket. New bolts and clamps ordered.
And a good opportunity to clean the pillar covers. Makes it look like a new car inside when it's all done

Drivers side carpet is the worst bit, different colour to the rest of the car, though i expect there stuff in halfrauds or similar that will sort that out

Buy a DT without a sunroof was my solution.
How do you match the orange??
Put whatever you have/want on it. Could even just take the lining off,clean foam & reinstall.
You’ll need loctite for putting seatbelt nuts back on (17mm), gloves - is glass fibre and couple screwdrivers.
The 8 pillar panels pop off gently, sun visors, 3 handles, few blanking plugs, lights have connectors (pop the lenses out then unscrew) and the alarm sensor. Door/boot seals pull off SR is probably same.
Just take your time not to snap anything too bad be done in an afternoon. If you want to take your time take 2 or 3 afternoons it don’t matter. (Won’t)
Don’t want to do this in the cold winter when plastic is brittle.
Clean hands thoroughly before putting back in
