Why are they straight and level ..have I missed something while away. ??You’ve cocked your wipers up.
Most of the time they'll get back to their places, most of the timeYou’ve cocked your wipers up.

I'm told there are joints at the bottom of the firewall, not seen them, I made a new joint. There are, or should be, clips holding the pipes to the floor pan above the cross member. I believe there is a difference between early and late cars.Just finished stripping the rear axle ,didnt realise that "mechanics" bolted rust back on, if it comes loose (2 x 6mm setscrews and 4 penny washers to hod on the rear disc guard. The pipework over the tank I cannot see but its not fastened to anything ,it just waves about.I wish I could take photos to put on just for the entertainment value. Are there any joints before the fuel tank? (its full) . I am thinking of running new pipes along the chassis rails, where I can see them.
On the brake pipes? Not on mine. I'm sure you are looking at the fuel pipes.Just in front of the tank there is usually two connectors drivers side.
They come on with gas pressure for the aircon unless you have done my mod.Fixed the radio, attached condenser fans, now just need to see if they come one as they should when it gets hot!
