I would never run in France with no spare, I could be 50 miles from anywhere with no mobile signal so a flat without a spare would be a disaster.
OK in the UK I guess as you have the RAC/AA to rescue you, nothing like that here.

60% of my use is within 10 miles - I have a Missus for 24x7 call outs! :D (Any further than 20 miles, I stick the spare in the back. Wheel that is not Missus )

Key fob was totally flat when I got back to the car after work. After unlocking with the key and setting the alarm off for about 5 mins (embarrassing the missus in the process) I entered the EKA code via the Nanocom and got it home. Just picked up some batteries from Tesco and all working as normal.

I definitely need to get a new key fob housing though, had to mess mine up pretty bad to get the batteries out as in the past someone has managed to strip the groove out of the battery cover.

You can get replacement housing on eBay for <£10, but not sure where you'd get the key blade cut, or actually how easy it is to dismantle the existing key fob without smashing the living daylights out of the contents.

Oh, I assumed it would all come apart easily and I could transplant the current key blade into the new housing. Maybe I'll just stump up for a new key and let the wife have this one. :)

So when the battery was actually flat I got no warnings at all, now I've replaced the batteries when I turn the engine off I get a "Keyfob Battery Low" message come up. Whats that all about?

Both front radial arm bushes and anti roll bar rubbers too

Yaaaaa

Sorted for another year or untill somthing falls off

It is a p38 after all !!

It's just got confused, senile dementia, mine had a session of telling me the FOB batteries were low about 2 years ago, it eventually gave up and I'm still using the same batteries:rolleyes:

Found my coolent leak. It was the pipe that returns to the expansion tank from the throttle. I never knew the throttle was heated by the cooling sytem to ensure it works in cold weather!

And i found a place that supplies brand new CD changers. And its all working fine again.

They not self levelling ?
Leveled by the suspension.

Well, it passed with four advisories, ABS mal function, they had to delete that when I showed them how it worked:) Tyres near the limit, I knew that:)
Oil leak front diff, actually it was from the engine oil filter plastic top O ring leaking, it's fixed but a little oil remains on the diff so no problem:)
and last but not least headlight alignment a touch high, obviously I didn't do a good job of re-aligning them. Tomorrows job.
Otherwise perfect:D That's it for another 2 years:D:D:D

Mines had an override spliced in which up to now has worked perfectly. Obviously today that doesn't work either. It's all been slightly strange since I changed the key fob batteries :(
