fitted new catalytic converters, lambda sensors came out easy, so neednt have worried about them. bloody manifold nuts were a different story though , plenty of heat and cool plus penetrating oil shifted them in the end, but on reassembly i couldnt get 2 of them to do up fully so looks like im going to have to change them for a new set. but on the plus side at least it dosent rattle like a marble in a tin can now. even with only 2 nuts each side holding it dosent blow, but going to fit new studs and nuts any how

Cool beans! Got sounds in the beast! Thanks to another post, took the sat nav drive from the boot and it worked fine! Now just need another sub. Like the idiot I am. I sold it thinking that I was going to change the whole system. :banghead::banghead:

So now to send the drive to Romania and get it repaired. Only £60.

Notice to others. If you have no sounds or partial, take the sat nav unit out the boot and then try.:D:D:D

Haha, glad that worked for you. I didn't come across that bit of advice anywhere else on the Internet either so I'm very happy about getting the answer here.

Let me know what your experience with getting it repaired is like as ill most likely be doing the same myself shortly.

Fixed the LPG so it now runs on 8 cylinders. Played about with my new Nanocom Evo. Then got baffled by how to replace the rear wiper

I believe i did, are you dja1810? very nice condition(im assuming the cd changer cradle was straight when you sent it,was very bent when it arrived, but the one off my sub fitted straight on so no problems!) Just need to find a volume kob for my alpine head unit and it will be fully working! :)

Had to order a new drivers heated mirror glass and inner clip .
Due to some prat clipping it .

I came back to find the mirror glass in the road no sign of the clip.
I've managed to un-clip the passenger side use clip and at least have a drivers cracked mirror working for now

I bought one for £22 inc clip better than the stealers @£42.50 + vat grrrr I suppose .

Just finished removing the unknown life forms from the beige leather. What a pig of a job. A whole heard of cows must be nude after giving up their leather coats for my interior. I had to first wash everything using an interior shampoo. Then I went back with a cleaner and toothbrush to get all the ingrained dirt out. Then I did the same with the leather but I went over the whole of it using a tooth brush and a leather cleaner/restorer. Then I wiped the seats down again with a damp cloth of cleaner/restorer, then buffed the leather with a soft clean cloth. The results are amazing however there are still a few marks I just can't seem to budge. Have to live with those I guess. At least I don't have to wear gloves to touch the steering wheel it really was that pooey
