What did you do with your Range Rover today

No. Mine isn't showing much signs of wear. So I got away with a good clean. Apart for two very small areas where the surface has worn away. The only thing I couldn't get very clean was the stitching. Once the thread is stained it won't come clean. Still it's way better than before. If your going to the trouble of dying the leather why not dye the steering wheel black. That way it won't show up all the marks. I thought of doing that to mine. It really does get mucky what with all the dirt and dead skin from your hands.

I couldn't do black! love the cream/wood combo too much. I guess I need to find a local place where I can see the colours in the flesh, trying to compare pics on my phone to the actual wheel didn't work too well!

Drove out of the yard, drove back into the yard. No exhaust and no soundproofing, that'll keep me happy for a while

I spent all day driving a Vauxhall Insignia SRi Estate. To be honest I quite liked it. The seats were much more supportive for my skinny arse than the RR seats. But not quite as comfortable place to be, it was a much more lively driving experience.

The good thing about it is that you can use the bottles provided to get exactly the colour you have, including the fact it has aged. Although have to say that the main bottle was an exact match for mine , without any messing about with mixing.

cleaned out the boot and finally got me spare tyres of the back seat

Fitted me new ****part mirror and clip .
I now have a drivers mirror ya!

Harsh brah, we don't all have fat arses, making the supports of the RR seats of any use. Being snug in those skinny bastard seats was awesome. T'was the new company car, think I'll be trying to take that over the van now.

Although you are left feeling slightly claustrophobic in any normal car after stepping out of a RR. Doesn't matter what it is, every car I've been in since has felt so close inside.

Arrrr cant find any play in anything thinking of just getting a full axle from a breaker that way i know ive found it

L322 must have tiny seats then. I don't find the P38 offers any real support. I slide around all the time. The seats in the Insignia were very tight and snug, much more support.

I like the looks of them Estate (I do like Estates though, always have).

It is my sort of car, goes when you poke it with a stick, but looks subtle.

The RR is a much nicer cruiser, but has no punt. Different cars for different occasions.

One of the weirder features of the Insignia Tourer is the tailgate, the whole thing lifts up, including all lights, so they have backup tail lights and indicators inside the boot. Has struts to hold it up the size of dampers on the P38.
