Have a look for the Wheeler Dealers thread some body does a repair kit for them.
Just done a 520 mile trip. Not a single fault with the vehicle, although a few times I got annoyed with it being an auto. But heyho. Only cost £120 in derv, which ain't too steep. Train tickets would've been £130 and they would've got me there late. I arrived in good time and extreme comfort.
They weren't keen on it, but as you said, they couldn't really stop me. Plus it saved £130 of MoD budget so you can buy some tic-tacs... and a new zimmerSo they let you drive there then

Them are some expensive pens/pencils/notebooks. Although I suppose given MoD procurement, it is normal.Might be able to buy some pens/pencils/notebooks for my students, next course Zimmer is fine as it is thanks

And I agree with you.Not really. 30/40 students getting £130 spent on stationery isn't a lot. It's not that long ago that stationery was provided. Now we can't even afford to provide a pencil.
rant mode on : Whilst some may say 'well they should buy their own anyway', I've attended lectures in many places from bottom of the pecking order to G10 meetings and the basics have been on the desk in front. To now have to say we can't even provide our soldiers, or visiting personnel from other nations, with a pencil to take notes, is embarrassing. : rant mode off
And I agree with you.
Back in college our tutors got annoyed with the boss of the college because he refused to spend money on paper for the printers, all students had to provide their own. But all of the staff got a quarterly bonus for saving money. They worked out that the bonuses for saving money outweighed the savings.
But it is the way things are going in our lean, mean fighting machine. Soon the only thing provided for free will be air.
Good think you're in The People's Republic of SNP then. You could get some free air on prescription. Failing that you could get a spoiler on your zimmer. They already limit that. Or at least it feels like it when I'm pushing my zimmer up hills

Once Scotland is free, it will be bankrupt as soon as the millions of English taxpayers cash is turned off and that little twerp Salmond will need a zimmerOh good thinking. I shall get my transfer sorted to the People's Republic of Free Scotland soonest. That's not the spoiler making me move faster, it's the Indian curry I just had

What you do in the privacy of your own home is one thing.....not here eh, not here.........
gave it a thorough wax on wax off treatment
I'd kill to have a pit...luck bastidWent shopping in it, got home stuck it in the barn over the pit to check it over before a long trip to collect a caravan for a friend. Found the exhaust pipe loose into the rear of the centre box and a piece completely missing where the joint is over the axle.
Sell the wife and mortgage the house for a new section over here plus it will take a week as it's special order so will order a stainless one from the UK.
Looks like we will be enjoying the comforts of the Transit on our trip for the caravan.
Dug it myself, getting too old to work on my back, it even has a sliding seat on rails so I can work in comfortI'd kill to have a pit...luck bastid
Not only a luck bastid - a lazy bastid too....Dug it myself, getting too old to work on my back, it even has a sliding seat on rails so I can work in comfort
