What did you do with your Range Rover today

Sitting at side of the road in the cold (snowing). Aux belt came off so had to stop. Eta is 2100hrs. What the #### fluxdieincoldrescue. If that is modern breakdown cover the I might as well walk the 15miles home.

A lovely little town called Snainton. You should visit one day... in the summer though.

Tell you something for free. Keeping blankets in the back of my car was a life saver. As was my ability to think outside the box. My boots got wet with snow when I hopped out to see what the drama was. That meant my socks got wet. Not ideal. So I took off one pair of socks and sat on them for 15 minutes until they were dry. Switched them for the pair I had one which was wet and did the same. Another 15 minutes later I had two pairs of dry socks on and very warm feet. A blanket got taped to the glass where I was sitting to stop heat getting out. That too was very nice as it kept me snug.

I was on the verge of nodding off after the first hour, I had let myself get that comfortable.

When im travelling i sleep in the car and have some cardboard cut to fit the window and it keeps the car nice and warm the coldest outside was =11 one time in Turkey but had travelled from -26 before I camped.

It is funny but I've never felt the stretch of road I was on to be a risky road. There is no chance of it completely flooding or being covered in so much snow it is inpassable. But mechanical failure has made me even more paranoid of this area. I know I am supposed to respect nature, but dammit man give a guy a break, I've already got a bill to get new parts (think the tensioner failed, but too dark to tell). Don't need to try and kill me too.

Going to make some cardboard window blinds though, t'is a good idea and will be very handy when I do have to venture across the Moors.

Mock away, it is only fair.
They do look magnificent on the back of a flatbed though don't they? It is as though RR knew they'd breakdown a lot so made them look even more beautiful when you're looking up at them.

I think it is slightly borkbork though. This is what I saw in day light.

SELLING IT (Range) Rover 400 off road special edition collectors vehicle | eBay

Rover 400 Special Edition
As you can see this Special Edition vehicle can be used for many off road tasks that would put most Range Rovers to shame.
It is a little scuffed in places (some T-Cut would sort most out)
Engine good although a little 'tappy' 2.0L petrol.
It was fine when last used in November but now wont go into gear (clutch pedal feels odd)
Still many years left in this fine utility vehicle after some attention to the clutch i think...
A possible collectors item as you wont find another like it....(not in this condition anyhow!)
Please note Dogs not included in this sale...its their favorite car and they will be sad to see it go.
Also fence posts not included ....but does come with special edition colour coded drivers seat (please note this is not an original Rover Part, the Green leather piped seats have gone on to adorn the interior of a VW camper)
The good points are listed above....there are no bad points that i can think of
Local delivery included in sale price as its not currently taxed.
Would consider p/x with another suitable vehicle
