I think the barrel lock needs a proper fix , rather than the fix from last time. Luckily I got the full part from GoS when the barrel came out a couple of months ago. I didn't use it as I had also bought the small part that had come away from barrel and it did the job.
I took the Numax battery back on Monday. No matter what the motor factor's computer says , Numax do not fit
The Numax is massively out. I'll look at measurements in a bit but it was visibly too big on opening the box.I went off measurements on the website
RAC renewal came through yesterday. HOW MUCH I screamed , gone up about 30%. Been with them over 16 years and always been happy . Got a quote like for like from AA and a lot cheaper. Just phoned RAC to cancel and give the being a pensioner sob story. Immediately they dropped the renewal to cheaper than AA's and many apologies given. Got a big grin on my face once again
I might try them next year. When at home in Narnia , we only have one recovery agent, who responds for all,companies. So makes no difference who I am with. The AA went up around 100% this year, thieving gits, which why I went to RAC. RAC are a substandard rescue company. I nearly rejoined AA yesterday due to RAC handling of breakdown.
