Top of the N/S exh. manifold towards the rear. That DTC is specific to LR, not a generic one.

Well.. after a few weeks of false starts and me butchering the Russian language. (also lots of help from the long haired colonel) Finally got all the parts and bits and pieces for the rear breaks to get the Black Beast back on the road with breaks feeling better than they ever had before :) What i had before i just accepted and thought normal. Now ..wow. Its like when you go in for a full tire change you think your tires are ok as you get used to them wearing but when you put four new boots on and come out of the shop you realize how bad the past set were.

Hi just wanted to share my experience. When you Admiral renewal went from £400 to £800 per year I went straight back to basics and filled in the “meerkats” comparison site. That way you’re going to get whatever is out there. The result for me was a new supplier 1st Central at £400 per year. Interestingly, my son got his best offer from the same company on a Mercedes but my daughters best offer was Admiral for a Corsa. For me the comparison sites always deliver the choices I seek. Keep looking.
Cheers Tricky
Even the comparison sites put their prices up the closer you get to the date you need it. If you do it a few weeks in advance you get a better deal.

Anyone know if you can get replacement parts for the l322 rear wiper motor? The gear is fine but the tip of the spindle is damaged where the nozzle clips on :(
I'd glue it, but only if you can't replace the spindle, which is also corroded and worn

You can use one of these, just need to swap the carrier bracket and move the magnet to the other side of the gear (180 degrees) or use your own gear.

ok, it seems to be official. cruise control on the l322 is crap and its cost me a fortune!
finally done some reproducible tests.. flat road, no high winds, constant speed and no traffic etc, at 70mph I'm getting 8-10mpg more (dash display) with foot on accelerator, vs when cruise is on, over the same stretch of road

Yeah but yours fluctuates a lot, doesn't it? How long was the road?
Used ours this week and it only fluctuates by 2km/h (on the sat Nav) hardly notice it.
I have checked the travelling to ferry figures and got 29.5 MPG not the most level of roads but fairly constant but lots of changing speed zones.
Mind I bet its not the same on the return cos different driver who didn't use cruise and has 2 on/off pedals

I've measured it a few times now on a few roads including motorways when they be free so i can do a constant speed.. at least 5-10 miles to get a decent average and with hot engine etc
Cruise seems to pulse.. ie accelerate on and off.. you can't really notice it but you can see it in the instant mpg screen
Plus cruise vent accelerate more than at a glacial pace so i think I'll only use it for 30/40 limits and not for 'cruising'
