I think by the time I get to it it'll be bloody dry but maybe there will be traces if that the case.
That's it, also the coil unit can get crap jammed between it and the axle that runs down into the pumps main body
My fusion is fly by wire throttle and used to often drop into limp mode in the wet.
The reason I wonder about the throttle pot is due to a little test I did. If I increase the idle speed via diagnostics, it has no effect on the MIL light problem, however when I stuck a piece of card on the throttle stop, it raised the idle speed a tad like the diagnostics adjustment, but the MIL light stopped flashing. It's not a definitive test as the MIL light doesn't always flash on mine.It is a good point and I suppose it is the easier of the two to assess between that and the pump. I'm going to check the pump plug and the plug under the header tank for any Corrosion

I didn't notice that issue on mine all appeared to be correctly labelled

It took a bit of fiddling to know what gear it was in but I’ve since been told the wheel on the inside is broken so I’ve just ordered a second hand one.
