So make sure the temp is turned up full and the fan on full otherwise its only gonna be the same settings as the front.

Why is it a problem are your legs that long you sit in the back to drive? ;)

I actually remember something from before about the "hedgehogs" and there maybe 1 in the back too. need to look back.

J
i do sometimes have kids in the back, plus, blowing icecold in the back can't help the temp in the front!
the fan speed works in the back, just not the temp,, hedgehog is fan speed only?

unless i have the middle vents set to manual, the cabin never gets warm

need to see if i can read cabin temp sensor values using diag

Uncovered him and took him off the trickle. Ran him for half an hour or so to really warm the screen and then fit the new interior mirror ready for MOT next week. Checked all lights are good. Reluctant first start, fine after that.
Shut him down and tried to siphon out fuel by running a line from the Schrader on the fuel rail but it just leaked all over the engine. So left him to vent and got on with just rust and sound proofing swmbo's little Ka.

Where were they from?

The lifespan of everything is so short now it is taking the ****. We need to start manufacturing stuff in Europe and enforcing standards.
Unless you get rid of Planned Obsolescence practice, it does not matter where it is manufactured, it is by design. For the economy, business, money money. The usual conversation of quality vs quantity, hence the better stuff costs more. Cost per usage.

True but there's also a reasonably expected lifespan. You'd expect a car to last longer than a biro. Dunlop airbags are expected to last 7 - 8 years so 5 is taking the ****.
