You would think all this tech could display the actual quantity of oil in the sump, rather than just, oil level ok.Computer says the level is 'ok'. It's showing half way.. no clue how much is needed to take it to 'full'

By the time I've done all that it'll be time to change the oil again!! At this rateAir filters to check next.
Coolant temp sensor to change.. not looking forward to that.. will need to find the right OAT to add.. didn't know there were so many types!!
Then another go at the boot strap..
Then the rear screen washer jet
Then the headlights washer pump

If you look at the oil filter cap there could be oil rings at the end of the filter locator stalk?2 small o rings in the oil filter box.. what are they for? So far they are 'left overs'
Only saw the big one to change on the housing
Air filters to check next.

Once i took the oil filter out of the housing, there was a perforated plastic tube that stayed in place, but that was a larger diameter than the 2 extra o rings, so i don't think they are for that. I didn't take any pipework off while changing the filter so i can't see it being for that pipe connection in the other link.. I'm baffledIf you look at the oil filter cap there could be oil rings at the end of the filter locator stalk?
