On covid, has my inoculation about 2 weeks ago now, then on Wedsday I get a text from St Thomas hospital telling me to book another with them, then yesterday I get another from St Peters asking me to do the same!!
Had my first jab other day, thought the nurse was being a bit personal when she said "little pri-k" told her no surprise its bleeding cold out there.

Sadly the little prick jokes are no more, they say a sharp scratch now, of a sad note it's a shame we didn't have the covid inoculations a long time ago, it would have saved a lot of lives, right now, we are lucky and should be thankful

They're not joined up. There's the private mass-vaccination centre, the GPs (sort of private but NHS) through their Primary Care Networks and then the hospitals. None of them know what the others are doing.

Plus there's the fraudsters.

On a more serious note lost a family member Wednesday to the covid. She was a lovely woman worked as a first responder for Lincolnshire ambulance service. Lets remember all friends and loved ones helping keeping us safe in these times

They should all have had FFP3 masks from the start. NHSE watered down the guidance in wave 1 when there was no PPE. The guidance on the HSE website went missing shortly afterwards. It is criminal.

Hopefully I think I qualify from next week. Then again have had it so supposes to be safe for 6 mnths or so

About 80% of people who have had it have some sort of lasting protection. There was a letter in New Scientist where someone whose sense of smell never came back after having CoViD got their sense of smell back a few days after having the vaccine. So it looks like it is still worth having the vaccine, even if you have had it.

Personal speculation here ... we know various viruses can hide in the body and erupt when your immune system is struggling (HIV, herpes etc) and I begin to wonder if quite a few others do as well, including CoViD19.

We don't have kids that enjoy car rides. The dogs do hop in occasionally and I personally get very excited when I get to go for a car ride and I'm 28, Especially if it's to a supermarket we haven't visited in a while. Man, life is exciting!
And then you spend the whole drive complaining about my driving. Just no winning with some people.

On a different note, this is being delivered on Thursday, Jap import from a dealer in York. 98 4.6 HSE, 88k miles. Wish me luck! On the bright side having owned the 95 4.0L for 6 years I know what to expect!

Wow, she's a beauty. Has it been treated to protect against US salty roads? Damn she looks good.

Yep, Waxoiled. I’ll get her on a ramp and inspect it when I get a chance. My only reservation is the KPH Speedo and metric computer. I haven’t seen it in the flesh, brought it in December in the lockdown. I thought it’d be taking the **** to drive from the IOW to Yorkshire to view. I hope I don’t regret that......

You don't need a keyring to advertise the fact you own a Range Rover and are a member of Landyzone, The straight jacket is a dead giveaway. ;):D

Well I've got to take my jacket off occasionally to wipe the rabid dribble off it, so I figured the keyring would be enough to warn people I own a Range Rover and to not approach without a set of jump leads and a calming cup of tea :D

Ha ha....:) yep I do. Got a set waiting at the feferb place till I need them. I do like them on 18’s but also keeping it factory. Opinions anyone?

My 18"s are off at the moment waiting refurb and I actually hate how small the 16s make her look. They make her look more boxy somehow which is ridiculous since she's a fridge on wheels. The 18s were the one good thing the guys I bought her from did!
