Fronts are easy too. U never took the dirt shield off, I just levered it to get at the top clip
You are joking? The only way to get the liners off on mine would be to grind the heads off all the screws then remove the remains and fit new fastners, certainly not a 5 minute jobYes, I took the front liner out to make access easier. Only takes 5 minutes and then everything is just there.
Good luck bud.never known a motor like it its like that film Christine with the possessed car :hysterically_laughi:mooning::behindsofa: but still love it though mate for all the crap she throws at me :tea:

Unless you have mud flaps fitted, just five push in plastic rivets. Very easy to remove with the correct tool. Reusable
liners in, clips easily accessible in engine bay with long screw driver, old ones out, new ones in. Easy.so are we saying its easier with the liners out or in i would have thought by the time you mess on taking the liners out the clips would have been removed
Don't they all have mud flaps fitted? There is one plastic fastner and 3 or 4 rusted screws, they can't even be ground off easily as they are recessed into the mudflap. I gave up and found the liner was easily levered out enough to access the clips.Unless you have mud flaps fitted, just five push in plastic rivets. Very easy to remove with the correct tool. Reusable

I'll wait for the feckers to rust off then replace them, not going to waste my time on it.Maybe a good idea to spend a day replacing mud flap fasteners and waxing them up. They screw into plastic retainers so with the head off should be easy to remove with grips. One job for me to do this summer. Should be around five plastic rivets holding liner on. Easy to remove with correct tool and can be reused. These Plastic Rivet - Genuine Land Rover at www.rimmerbros.co.uk
For what?so where does one purchase the correct tool
Got mine off Ebay. Some have a centre pin you have to push in first.plastic rivets
