cleaned up some old tool boxes too,

DSC00551.jpg

just need to get them sorted out like the other two boxs, take me a day to pick up all the tools that are scattered around to start with

Well I've just read this entire thread from the start and it really takes me back to my first Landy a '72 SWB diesel. I went through the same rebuild process, 14 months and thousands of £'s. Sadly mine was nicked 7 weeks after I put it on the road.
I am almost inspired to go and buy one to restore but I really should be in the garage now painting the new (second hand) rear door on my 90 or finishing the ply paneling in the back or sorting the paintwork or welding those three holes I know are in the chassis or ,,,,,,,,, perhaps I'll buy a new chassis for this one and start from scratch but then I'll have to buy something else to drive round in which will probably need a load of work and aaaarrrrrgggh

absolutely beautiful project showing off evry skill known to a landrover man being put to work and good use in evry sense of the word

we should all aspire to showing this kind of passion towards anything we do

your a true inspiration to us all in evry sense of the word

in wich youve just inspired me to get off my arse and begin preperations for a project of my own

thank you for this exelent thread
