The place I used for the balancing, most likely not. The place I use for tyres now though has top notch ass. I'm gonna stick it into them just now and sed

No shame at all. I'd already tried having them balanced by so called professionals so as far as I was aware that base had been covered
I took it into my tyre place to have me new wheels fitted and I told him about the problem and he said aye its your balancing. Stuck them on the machine and they needed some amount of weights! Clearly the last place that balanced them just weren't interested and chucked weights on anywhere and everywhere but aye, problem solved! Simple solution after all!
