I wouldn't worry about uj remove the prop.

If your going up there blind to weld it then take couple of pieces of 1inch or better still 1.5 inch angle it willallow a temp repair

would do anyway.
bit confused at mo as its been described as trailing arm then radius arm.
just noted that on first or second post it states rear axle, so presume trailing arm at mo!

just texted simmi for details on number he left

update from simmi-

i've managed to find a garage. he has a uj and welder. car is crawing down here now so should be ok. if no though i'll give you a bell :)thanks for all your help so far though:)

Help...

What about Dr Evil, doesn't he have loads of stuff and live quite near you

I have sent him a PM for you

Kirkby Steven isn't too far out but I won't be around til tomorrow afternoon at the earliest unless its a real emergency and you need welding still

But if its lift pump the best I can offer is a low pressure 12v feed pump as they're all I have spare

cant offer owt this time afraid, i do have a second hand lift pump, tho i dont know exactly where it is, plus i'm kinda full of guinness.
worst case i do have a trailer for later tomorrow......

we are trying and hoping for something on ebay fingers crossed or we will be recovering it later

Don't forget LZIR is an emergency service, not a spares repository.
It's not designed to save yu having AA cover

Yu are safe, the car is not at risk.
