That could only be a temporary fix until the pump gives up all togetherHi Everybody.
Problem solved.
We had to codes that came up, both relating to fuel pressure.
We found a bare wire on the sensor under the bonnett.
BUT THEN CAR WOULDNT START!
my mechanic checked fuel pump, and it wasnt picking up on the ignition, so he hit it with a hammer!
Car started straight away.
