If its a standard Defender Steering wheel I believe its a large.

Most after market smaller wheels are small.

Motolita 14 inch in black from Mud Stuff. it is superb quality, easy to fit and is good to drive (my car is non power steering)

Has it got a universal adapter for the splines? I have a Monterey adapter and it's crap. When you look inside 2 proxy grub screws holding it together and wobbles. Have took it off and back to my 1984 steering wheel.

14" needs a small one. Larger wheel and disco wheel is medium or large depending on thickness of wheel

Mudstuff website has an excellent guide and you select the specific adapter based on your current land rover steering wheel.
Mine fitted perfectly and does not wobble at all - far from it !

It came as a package with the wheel for £145 approx. its not the cheapest but they seem to be the best.

What inch diameter do I want to go for? 14" or 15"?

What is the standard diameter of the Defender wheel type B?

eBay purchase of four Wolf wheels complete. They were not in bad condition but have been sanded primed and are looking very smart in Matt black paint. New tyres arrived today also from eBay. I went for Michelin XZL 235 85 16 and they are amazing ! it quite common just take a hacksaw to the wheel cut clean through bend the wheel pull off then bend the wheel back
