After the front door locks stopped working I have replaced both front actuators and everything works fine again off the key fob. I previously posted that I now noticed the sidelights were flashing rather than the indicators when locking/unlocking so I took it in to my local independent LR chap and had it plugged into his reader. It went through its check phase and I am glad to say there are no faults. When the machine tested the 'superlock' it said the sidelights should flash, much to my surprise. Can I ask someone to nip out and check exactly which lights flash when your car is locked/ unlocked then superlocked i.e lock button pressed twice in quick succession. Thanks in anticipation.

You can set what lights flash when you lock with the correct diagnostic kit (NOT Testbook).

Ignore the red box, that was for something else but if you look towards the bottom under 'ARM/DISARM' you can see the option to change what flashes when you lock. Testbook doesn't allow you to set all those options manually (this is because with Testbook you set the market and it then sets the options for that market and you can't set induvidual items), you have to have something like a Rovacom/Autologic/Faultmate to do it.

hope that helps.

Thanks for the replies.

Wills, it was testbook he used as I can remember it saying "Testbook is about to lock this door, that door etc.." so I suppose somewhere along the line when one of the locks failed the car has reverted to one of the market options. I must say I'd prefer to have the indicators flash on locking so I'll need to try and find someone who has the correct plug in to alter the setting, but I suppose it doesn't really matter as long as the car goes, stops, looks good and doesn't overheat!
