Have done the drive out in 2 motors, drop one off at end of route then drive to start of route. walk the route collect 1st car and drive back to 2nd car and collect that. Especially when out hill trekking in wales. Have also dropped a group off at A then driven to B aboiut 5 hrs laters and picked up the group at the end of their route.
 
Hell... when the going gets tough! In fact it was not even tough... there was no bad language just a civil suggestion that everyone could live together and enjoy the countryside and the bleedin MOD closed it down in case someone agreed!
 
Why is it that there is no one in the 4x4 community with the cahones to publicly question the RA?

The fact is that we are a disorganised buch who will never get anything done to protect our passtime because all the rich influential ****s belong to the RA...

Even the local farmers despise Ramblers... one said to me just yesterday that he had come through his garden gate to find a group having lunch in his his garden using his garden table for their convenience! (not conveniences)

The RA are so hypocritical... and not even brave enough to join a true forum like this to state their views!

They're the most single minded bigoted people going, easier to reason with the Taliban.

Nonsense... they like gay slitties...... and they love land rovers... I know 'cos we pulled a few out in the snows! Not one of the ramblers we pulled out told us to ****off and leave them alone!

So they must love us right? :)
 
The RA did go very quiet when the snow was about:cool: I can't see their argument against 4x4s being very strong with a decent covering of snow on the ground.

If I saw a RA sticker in the window of a stuck car, removing it would be the price of rescue.:D Refusal and they'd be waiting till Spring.
