Trial fitting a few more bits, everything seems to be lining up perfect, so no more welding on chassis, just a little tweaking here and there.
Cant wait to get it Galvanised so I can start building.

Who is galvanising it? Is it Birtley Galvanisers?

I can’t wait for mine to arrive so I can start building it up. I stripped the tub to replace the floor supports, as I wasn’t happy with the state of the old ones. Trying to fill time in really. Should have built the doors, but the windows are getting tinted.

Just waiting on Funds to pay for it. I phoned Birtley but they only do New Steel, so its gonna get done at Blaydon, they send them up to Scotland the bring them back.

Thanks, I did not know they offered that service, handy for the future. How is your project getting on?

Just a quick update, nothing new to report really but Chassis has finally gone to get Blasted then Galve, Change of plan at last minuet to which Galv company to use, but hopefully it will come back looking good.
Waiting for new rear brake drums and shoes for rear axle to get it complete, front just about done and got arms ready to bolt on so hopefully will have a rolling chassis very soon.
Still deciding on which suspension,
Will post pics when chassis comes back.

Should be back and all done this time next week. Got a few things to paint brackets ect, got new brake drums, should I be priming and painting these or just leave them as they are?

I'm for painting them. Really thorough degrease, high temperature satin black paint, doesn't need primer. Probably won't last long and a bit of a waste of time but satisfies my inner geek.:D

Little bit done today. Finished front axle, just about ready to put wheels on it, think ive got the wrong bolts for radius arms though in photo, there too long, need to get the correct part number for them.
Gonna try and fit brake shoes to rear axle next, but might get a mate to do it for me as Im not very good with brakes.
Every time I turn around the little dog has made herself comfortable somewhere, she loves coming up there with me.
Notice I've scratched my Lovely Paintwork :)

That looks like them radius arm bolts may be for the wider radius arms, not the narrower ones fitted to our age vehicles.

Any news on the chassis delivery date?

Just found part numbers for bolts my local landy shop should have them in. It went up to Glasgow with another 3 chassis on Wednesday so Hoping to come back Thursday or Friday, Came back from shotblasters last week looks like they done a great job,
Will add pics when it comes.

Was it MD who blasted it?

You will be over the moon when it arrives, I know I was. The only problem is the HUGE attraction to working all hours on it.

Slowly. I had a mishap with the tub and the rivet gun, resulting in having to respray both wings last week. I currently have a rolling chassis, with engine and boxes, all connected up with props. Exhaust is on, A frame is on, just waiting on the correct length SS bolts for the self levelling unit, and it will be onto fitting the bulkhead and tub (no tub floor fitted as I want to bolt this in). Once they are on, brake lines and fuel lines fitting. Hopefully then I can start the engine for the first time since April last year.

I seem to have mishaps every other day. but learning from them.
Im at Bishop tomorrow if you are about

I’m on nights tomorrow, and next week, and days for 2 weeks after that, but should be around in feb.

We have to keep going when things don’t go our way. At the stage we are currently, we can’t give up. At least that’s what I keep telling myself.

I only give up when I run out of money then start again when I find some more. I am up there every Tuesday morning and afternoon, you might be finished yours by February;)
