Yeah was a lucky find. I need a load more repair panels though, prob from Frogatts as posted on my thread.

This one https://yrmit.co.uk/product/rear-cross-member-floor-support-lr-discovery-1/

@K2tnt You can measure the spot welded brackets from your existing one, chop the lot out, drill the bracket spot welds out then weld them back on to your new one.

If your front z piece has gone, you can buy another side support piece then cut out your front z support. You’ll have to measure again and rivnut some m6 threads in for the brackets that go on your rear seat bars 👍🏻

A bloody fiddly job. Angles, twists and tiny pieces. You can see that the crossmember is supposed to be sandwiched between inner and outer skin. I wonder how many actually do this as you have to chop off a bit more than you’d want to. My pencil is pointing to crossmember piece. Little gap too where my weld pulled down a touch due to heat but I can hammer that out
I’ve purposely left a gap at bottom of pillar for wax to get out. There’s bungs the other side, all the way up so you can get dynax or dinitrol everywhere.
