Has anyone found a campsite for Friday?? I'm not getting any replies from the ones I've emailed.

Hi, ive found a campsite who had told me they had space but i need to know exactly how many are going. I told them about 6-8 pitches would be needed, but better to have an exact number, as it is a bank holiday weekend, they need to know asap. the campsite is called Maesbach Caravan and Camping Park. The cost is be £7 per adult and £2 for a child, they have toilets, hot showers and washing up facilities.

If everyone is happy with this site, I'll book it but i need an exact number. Or all book seperatly?.

book me in im on the friday camping list.

That looks a good spot only 10 miles or so away from the lane perfect i am still planing on driving up on sat morning, it should be a good weekend with good lanes, just so you all know it will be strata first lane on sat then there is a 20 mile road section to get us to the group of lanes we will be on for the rest of the weekend and there are hardly any road section between them.

If there's anymore for Friday camping get yer names down as i will be booking tomorrow afternoon.........

Johnlad dont book me in the campsite mate, my son and i are gonna camp wild. The lad wants to rough it and make fire and kip under dads poncho for the night so were gonna find a spot somewhere in the sticks nr the site.

Also guys ive got a very well packed severe trauma first aid box in the Range rover for just incase and some parachute flares and coloured smokes aswell so we should be pretty safe if someone ends up in a bad situation in the middle of nowhere.

Howdy anyway looking forward to the trip and meeting you guys

Have been busy starting to make a bumper to hold a rather large winch i bought a couple of weeks ago. I had drawn some plans up to have it all profiled out of 6mm sheet and then just weld it together my self but the company cant do it till next week so ive started to build one out of box and flat bar for now. Still got to figure out where to fit the extra battery as its 24v. ordered a snorkel and extended breathers yesterday so it looks like im going to be a busy Timmy, reminder to self "try to find time this week for some work" lol
