that sounds like it needs to happen lolI was thinking about doing that to my front seats too for the BBQ area with a little 12v battery so they could still be adjusted .

what sends the messages to the dash like bonnet open etc is that the bcem as l was thinking of using the instrument brinicle in the iveco so all the gauges work
But as you mention it.
I dont know how the Iveco gets it speedo reading from but the RR setup doesn't have an easy way to fit a cable drive too.
So something to consider. if you are going with the 350 on a yank autobox you may get lucky, or as you are using perhaps that other TB that may have it which maybe why you have chose it.
Lots of little niggly bits to sort I would think.

just use a GPS speedo, smiths have a selection, or vdo if you want a cheaper oneBut as you mention it.

All comes via the BECM. Shame you are not closer or I would buy the interior.what sends the messages to the dash like bonnet open etc is that the bcem as l was thinking of using the instrument brinicle in the iveco so all the gauges work
l might try and lift out the whole wiring loom and use it in its entirety i assume i can un plug all 4 door looms and it wont affect anything running wise, that way i can use the dash/brinicle and have it all workingAll comes via the BECM. Shame you are not closer or I would buy the interior.
i have one of them in my zil 131 it works fine untill you get into central london then all the tall buildings block the signal and you lose your speed display but hey the chances of speeding in central london are slim anyway loljust use a GPS speedo, smiths have a selection, or vdo if you want a cheaper one
that may bugger me up then as i wont be trying to engineer that on to the ivecoSpeedo comes from abs sure there’s a few more too.

A couple of links on the EAS ECU gets rid of the messages.i was driving it about today just to see it all works before i start taking things off it and i noticed it has no error messages or faultcodes,
the aircompressor for the air suspension is missing as its on springs but it shows no faults does that mean some one has written the air sus out of the becm somehow to stop it reporting ?
That's not a speedo drive it's a cable tube. The is no cable driven speedo on any P38 and there never has been.i was having a mooch around the local 4x4 yard today and i found this P38 engine and box on the floor, the interesting bit was it has a speedo drive on the transfer box as pic shows, i might get lucky and find a way of converting to cable drive the same as the classic transferbox had, maybe
